From Equipment Acceptance to Decommissioning
The eAuditor system combines device inventory with information about their users and equipment handover documents. An administrator can register a new asset, assign it to an employee, document its return or re-issue, and analyze data needed before device modernization and decommissioning. Protocols and history of associations help determine how the equipment was used at subsequent stages of its operation.
Key capabilities:
- Registering new devices
- Documenting equipment issuance and return
- Employee-device relationship updated via protocols
- Storing historical protocols
- Configuration analysis before modernization or replacement
Introducing an Asset into the Environment
After purchasing or receiving a device, it is necessary to assign it a proper identifier and complete hardware and organizational information. eAuditor allows combining data from manual inventory, import, and automatic detection. This ensures the device is included in the register before it reaches the user.
Handover and Return Confirmed by Document
The system supports PP, PZ protocols, and a combined return and handover process. A document can include several items, notes and attachments. Creating a protocol updates the relationship between the device and the employee; historical documents remain available for viewing and printing. It is a concrete mechanism for organizing accountability for equipment.
Decisions Regarding Further Operation
Data on the device’s age, configuration history and usage support the assessment of its suitability for the next assignment, modernization or decommissioning. The decision-making itself still rests with the organization. The system provides however information, that allows you to document it and prepare an equipment replacement plan..
